Educational Theatre Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set up a performance?

Select the program that you are interested in and fill out the “Request This Program” form. Once we have received and reviewed your request, a member of our booking team will contact you.

Are your programs virtual? What distance learning platforms can you accommodate?

We are closely monitoring district re-opening plans, but currently, all programs are delivered virtually. We can accommodate most distance learning platforms, such as Zoom, Google Meet, and WebEx.

How much does a performance cost?

All programs are free and supported by Kaiser Permanente.

Do you have a maximum audience size?

The maximum audience size is dependent on the program and meeting platform. Please reach out to us for more information.

How long is the presentation?

Each program differs. Our high school program is 30 to 60 minutes, and our program for school staff ranges from 60 to 120 minutes.

How many presentations do you do in one day?

We can provide up to three virtual presentations in one day. We can return for a second day if more than three are needed.

How much time does it take to set up?

For our virtual programs, we recommend a brief ‘tech test’ about 10 minutes prior to start time.

Do you present for private schools?

Yes. We present for both public and private schools.

Do you present at libraries, community events, or health fairs?

Yes. However, all requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please send your request to Educational-Theatre@kp.org.

We serve schools and community organizations, nationally, everywhere there is Kaiser Permanente.
