Educational Theatre
Kaiser Permanente has provided arts-based learning to support well-being from classrooms and communities for nearly 40 years. Arts-based learning uses theatre and storytelling to deliver critical health messages, to increase resilience, regulate emotions, develop coping skills, and build community. By providing health education through interactive and engaging plays and workshops, complex health topics – such as mental health and wellness – become both accessible and memorable.
We continue to support arts-based learning performances and workshops for schools and communities, delivered by Imagination Stage.
Imagination Stage, a leader in youth development through the arts, is driven by a belief that exposure and participation in the performing arts intrinsically nourishes a child’s spirit, inspires their embrace of the complexity and diversity of their world, and helps them overcome their challenges with hope, courage, and above all, creativity.
